November 22, (THEWILL) – A paternal aunt of late singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has slammed the late singer’s mother, Mrs Olumiyi, for abandoning him when he was eight years old.
In a viral TikTok video, Mohbad’s aunt claims Olumiyi engaged in promiscuous behaviour, leading to her getting pregnant by another man instead of prioritising the upbringing of her children.
According to the aunt, “She left all the children. She left them. I heard yesterday. I got so much information yesterday. When those children were two years, three years.
“Mohbad was eight years old when this stupid, useless woman called Iya Mohbad left and went to go and got pregnant by another man.”
She also slammed the singer’s widow, Wunmi, claiming that she is just like her promiscuous mother-in-law.
She said, “That’s why she and Wunmi are friends because they are both promiscuous. Mohbad sang about it. He said the two of them are close because they engaged in promiscuity.
“Both of you [Mohbad’s mother and wife] can’t say “no”, it is always “yes” from you. Even if a goat or sheep comes, it goes with you.”
The recent controversy follows Mohbad’s mother’s plea to the father’s refusal to bury the late singer, days after MohBad’s father released a video stating the delay in burial is due to the need for a DNA test to confirm the paternity of the child left behind by the singer.
