BEVERLY HILLS, May 13, (THEWILL) – After terminating his contract with Turkey’s Trabzonspor, it appears former Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi, may play in the Mexican Liga MX.
According to beIN Sports, Mikel is being sought after by lots of Liga MX clubs and the Nigerian is basking in the euphoria of playing in the Mexican league.
Mikel, 33, is currently without a club after terminating his contract with Turkey’s Trabzonspor when the coronavirus pandemic broke out in Europe.

THEWILL reports that the Turkish Super League refused to suspend the season even after the outbreak of the coronavirus and the former Chelsea midfielder criticized this and subsequently terminated his contract.
