November 22, (THEWILL) – Winner of the season 4 edition of Big Brother Naija reality show, Mercy Eke, has given out 5 million naira to some business women through her foundation, Mercy Eke Foundation, MEK.
The project which was tagged #MEFwithbusinessowners kicked off in July but the grand finale was on 19th November, 2021. And not less than 5 million naira was given out by the reality show star to winners of the project.
The media personality requested for entries from young business owners struggling to set up a business and those who have a business idea but lack the fund to finance it. Participants were requested to upload creative short videos about their business ideas on their Instagram pages with the hashtag, #MEFwithbusinessowners.
They were also informed to tag her foundation on social media and wait for the list of winners to be announced. At the end of the day, 35 winners were randomly picked and given business grants ranging from N200, 000, N300, 000, and N500, 000 respectively.
While speaking during the cheque presentation, winners of the #MEFwithbusinessowners challenge appreciated the media personality for her assistance. They showered encomium on her for making their dream of setting up a business come through.
