Forest has struggled in the Premier League as they fight to stay up, but they defeated Wolves on penalties on Wednesday following a 1-1 draw to move closer to the Wembley Stadium final.
Newcastle advanced to the competition’s semi-finals for the first time since 1976 with a 2-0 victory over Leicester City. They will now travel to Southampton, the bottom team in the Premier League that shockingly beat Manchester City, for the first leg.
