SAN FRANCISCO, July 07, (THEWILL) – Umar Mohammed has been appointed as the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This follows the suspension of Ibrahim Magu, who is under investigations for corruption.
Mohammed, until his appointment was the Director of Operations at EFCC.
Umar’s appointment was revealed by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) from a top official of the agency.
