BEVERLY HILLS, June 08, (THEWILL) – Lagos State assemblymen Monday elected Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, the lawmaker representing Agege Constituency 1, as Speaker of the 8th Assembly of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Obasa, the fourth term legislator, representing the All Progressives Congress (APC), which is the majority in the Assembly, was elected unopposed.
In Delta, another fourth term legislator, Hon. Monday Igbuya from Sapele, was elected Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly with Hon. Friday Osanebi as Deputy Speaker.
Both assemblymen are of the PDP, which is the majority in the Assembly.
