March 19, (THEWILL) – Olumide Oworu, the supposed candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for Surulere Constituency I, was not on the State Constituency Declaration Result Sheet in the just concluded state assembly election that was held on Saturday.
When the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) official displayed the result sheet for the constituency, it was Adebayo Bode and not Olumide Oworu’s name that was written as the candidate of the Labour Party.
According to reports, the candidates were enmeshed in legal cases that weren’t resolved before the election.
Recall that Oworu made his political ambition known a few weeks prior to the conduct of the state assembly election.
