SAN FRANCISCO, October 18, (THEWILL) – Supreme Court Justice John Inyang Okoro, who was one of the seven senior justices detained by the Department of State Services (DSS) during last week’s nationwide crackdown on the judiciary over allegations of corruption has written a formal letter to the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) narrating what transpired and the source of monies seized from him by the operatives.
Justice Okoro also alleged that Chief Rotimi Amaechi, Transport Minister and a top chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), as well as Mr. Umana Umana, the APC’s governorship candidate in Akwa Ibom State in the 2015 election, tried to induce him with cash.
