January 13, (THEWILL) – Newcastle United midfielder, Joelinton, has been charged with drink-driving after being pulled over by police in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The 26-year-old Brazilian was arrested for being over the prescribed limit for alcohol. A spokesperson for Northumbria Police stated, “Joelinton Cassio, 26, of Ponteland, has since been charged with driving whilst above the prescribed limit for alcohol.”
