March 03, (THEWILL) – Abdulrasheed Bello’s son, Benito, has renounced his father’s name and adopted his stepfather’s name, Andrew.
Benito is the son the singer had with his former British wife, Mella. Benito and JJC Skillz have not been having a good father-son relationship since the singer’s marriage to Funke Akindele crashed.
He opened a can of worms after his father’s marriage crashed and accused him of physically assaulting him when he was expelled from school.
Benito took to social media to reveal that he is no longer bearing Bello. He also posted a picture of his stepfather while revealing that he now bears Andrew.
According to him, he has adopted his stepfather’s surname and has erased his father’s name from his.
“Y’all please get it right, my name is Andrews now, I’m not a Bello,” he wrote.
