Januay 15, (HEWILL) – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has approved a total of 747 Computer Based Test (CBT) Centres for the 2024 UTME registration exercise, which commenced on Monday, January 15.
This was disclosed in a bulletin issued in Abuja by the Board’s Public Communication Advisor (PAC), Dr. Fabian Benjamin.
JAMB had initially shortlisted 907 CBT centres for accreditation, but after revalidation and integrity tests on the Centres, the board certified 747 centres for the 2024 UTME exercise.
To register, candidates are expected to create a profile through the National Identity Number (NIN) at various Computer-Based Test centres across the country.
They are also expected to generate their profile with the use of either JAMB USS codes 55019 or 66019.
JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, warned that “Only one sort code is allowed to avoid multiple charges”. This, he said, is compulsory for candidates as a unique verification tool to thumbprint to end the registration exercise.
