October 4, (THEWILL) – Popular highlife singer, Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko, aka AG baby, has revealed he’s had to contend with many uphill battles. But AG baby noted he’s still standing strong nonetheless.
“Been through a lot but I’m standing strong,” he wrote.
In July, the “Sinner” singer recounted his battle with sickle cell anemia.The 35-year-old entertainer in a lengthy letter to his fans revealed he was born with sickle cell disease. He said growing up with the inherited disease was tough, painful, and very much frustrating.
He said his worst ever crisis happened at 20 when he pleaded with God to take his life because of the excruciating pain but that was the point his life changed. According to him, when that particular crisis passed, he got a new lease of life after God asked if he still desired to die and he said “No.”
