February 26, (THEWILL) – The National Collation Agents for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Monday, staged a walkout at the collation centre.
The agents, Senator Dino Melaye and Emeka Ihedioha along with nine other parties, walked out of the collation centre in Abuja.
THEWILL reports that the International Conference Center (ICC) in Abuja, is now processing the results of the presidential election.
Melaye, Ihedioha, as well as the agents of the Labour Party and others, had complained that the results presented by INEC SCOPs were not uploaded on the commission’s Results Viewing Portal (IReV), as repeatedly promised by the electoral umpire before the February 25 presidential poll.
They alleged manipulation of some figures, calling on the National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC), Prof Mahood Yakubu, to review them.
They also insisted the figures from the different States should be uploaded on the server of the Commission.
But, Yakubu said there would be no review until the process was completed, a development that made the agents walk out of the centre.
