BEVERLY HILLS, June 18, (THEWILL) – The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi and his wife, Olori Wuraola Zynab Otiti Ogunwusi are currently in the United States of America on a historic 3-week tour.
After a series of official visits one of which Her Majesty, Olori Wuraola was recognized by the State of New Jersey for her commitment to excellence and service to Nigeria and West Africa, the Queen a few hours ago, was at the Emerging Women’s Forum in National Harbor, Maryland where she gave a powerful and show stopping speech.
Speaking on the topic of strength of women and what Gender equality means to her, she said: “I am not a huge fan of Gender equality. We can’t be equal, we cant be men. We have our roles to play here, a very pivotal one.”
She went on to speak about the powerful roles women play and how women should tap into their powers by exploring themselves in order to reach extraordinary heights, as opposed to fighting for power with their male counterparts.
“The modern pattern of feminism has succeeded in limiting women of the heights they could reach; gender equality is unrealistic. We can never be equal with men, we are here for a great purpose, we have our roles to play we are powerful and we are a force of nature.”
