A female governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Imo State, Hon. Juliet Awa Obasi, has assured the residents of the state that she will improve their wellbeing if elected in the forthcoming governorship election.
Obasi, who is a former member of the House of Representatives and represented Isu, Nwangele, Nkwerre and Njaba Federal Constituency, said this while addressing newsmen in Owerri,
She said that the present administration of Sen. Hope Uzodimma is on track with good ideas, but that the people of the state should expect more from a woman that has survived in complex environments of life, which is good for the job.
“Encourage a woman to bring new ideas. A woman who has severed as a member of House of Representatives and has served in all walks of life and has experience in many organisations in Nigeria and outside the country”, she said.
She disclosed her preparedness to lift Imo state to a greater height, assuring that she will introduce a level- playing ground for all the stakeholders, citizens of the State and the residents.
Obasi, who hails from Orsuobodo Community, in Oguta Local Government Area of the State, pledged to be a servant- leader if she is elected to govern the State.
