I’ll Do Better If Given Opportunity To Serve As Imo Gov Under APC – Hon Juliet Obasi

October 08, (THEWILL) – The first Imo female politician to have declared interest to run for the Imo Governorship seat, under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Juliet Awa Obasi, has assured to do better if elected in the forthcoming election in 2024.

Hon. Obasi, who represented Isu, Nwangele, Nkwerre and Njaba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Abuja, said this while addressing newsmen in Owerri, recently.

She said, “Good day, Gentlemen of the Press, you are welcome to this historical event and my unfolding of new ideas of Governance of our great State. I have the capacity and vision to rule Imo selflessly.”

The Imo Governorship aspirant noted that the present government of Sen. Hope Uzodimma is on track with good ideas, saying that more from a woman that has survived in complex environments of life is needed to do a good job.

“Encourage a woman to bring new ideas. A woman who had served as a member of the House of Representatives and in all walks of life; and has experience in all areas, and I have lived in Nigeria and travelled out of the country.

She disclosed her preparedness to lift Imo to a greater level of administration, assuring to introduce a level-playing ground for all the stakeholders and citizens of the State and noble people and individuals with huge discipline and understanding of Governance.

The ex-federal lawmaker, who hails from Orsuobodo Community, in Oguta Local Government Area of the State, pledged to be a servant leader if voted into power by the people of the State.
