September 27, (THEWILL) – Aweek ago, social media was agog after Nollywood actress Olayinka Solomon was seen twerking on her husband’s laps during their wedding reception. The mother of two was excited, recounting the travail and heartbreaks she suffered in the hands of men before finally settling down. Those who saw the video were happy the beautiful actress had finally found a partner to settle down with. But they couldn’t comprehend the reason for her display of emotion at her wedding. They were also not aware that the actress had dated Ibrahim Chatta and had a son with him.
Yinka and Chatta’s romantic relationship started in 2007. They met on a movie location where actor and director Kunle Afod was filming Tiwonsikanga. They became friends and then lovers. The two started co-habiting together a year after they met, but they didn’t get married as the actor refused to see her parents to formalise their relationship. They welcomed their first son, Malik, in 2008 before their relationship turned sour with allegations of infidelity and domestic abuse.
According to Yinka, Chatta became a gold digger, took all the money in her account and maltreated her when she became broke. He would bring women to the house and beat her if she dared to complain. She said she had to leave when she couldn’t tolerate the abuse again.
After leaving Chatta, Yinka fell in love again. But after her bitter experience with Chatta, she ensured he was not an actor. That relationship also didn’t work and she left after welcoming her second son. She also took a break from the movie industry and concentrated on her business and raising her two sons. Years after getting over the series of heartbreaks, she gave love a third chance and met the man of her dreams, Olasunkanmi Mabinuori, an officer in the United States army. They dated for a few years, with the handsome dude accepting her children and marrying her.
