May 26, (THEWILL) – Yeni Kuti, the first daughter of Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti, has said that she cannot leave her husband because of infidelity.
She made this known in an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
According to her, her late father had 27 wives and her mother didn’t leave her marriage.
She, however, made it known that she isn’t judging people who left their marriages because of infidelity.
“I won’t leave my husband if he’s cheating; that’s me. You can leave your own husband if he’s cheating; that’s you. Don’t judge me; I’m not judging you.
“My father had 27 wives; my mother didn’t go. It’s me who will now come and go because of one girl. It cannot happen,” she stated.
This isn’t the first time Kuti will be making such a revelation.
While speaking on ‘Your View’ on Television Continental, Kuti said that she can never leave her marriage because of cheating.
She had made the utterance while agreeing with veteran actress, Patience Ozokwor, who said that infidelity is not a deal breaker in marriage.
