BEVERLY HILLS, March 09, (THEWILL) – Thomas Markle Snr, Meghan Markle’s father, has reacted to the recent interview of his daughter to popular TV host, Oprah Winfrey.
THEWILL had reported that Meghan and Prince Harry granted an interview alleging racism at Buckingham Palace.
Reacting, Thomas Markle Snr, who appeared onGood Morning Britainon Tuesday where he spoke with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid stated that he was on the side of the Royal Family.
On Meghan being suicidal and having no one to help her, Thomas Markle stated that his daughter shut her family out and that was why she didn’t have anyone to turn to.
He said: “She’s pretty much ghosted all of her family, on her mother’s side and my side, so she really has no one to reach out to.”
Reacting to Meghan’s claim about concerns of the skin of her son and how dark he might be when he’s born, Markle disclosed that he didn’t think it was as serious as Meghan made people believe.
He said: “I have great respect for the royals and I don’t think the British Royal family are racists, or I don’t think the British are racist.
“I think Los Angeles is racist, California is racist (where Meghan lives now), but I don’t think the British are.
“The thing about what colour will the baby be, or how dark will the baby be, I’m guessing and hoping it’s just a dumb question from somebody. It could just be that simple. It could be somebody asked this stupid question rather than being a total racist.”
According to Thomas, he never stopped loving his daughter and he still believed a part of her still felt something for him.
