March 25, (THEWILL) – Nigeria comic actor, John Okafor, also known as Mr Ibu, has opened up about his health challenge.
The actor has been down with an undisclosed ailment that has made him take a break from his acting career.
His wife, Stella Maris took to her Instagram handle to share a video of herself sitting down by her husband’s bedside.
Mr Ibu, who was able to say some words, stated that he is not in a critical condition as widely speculated. He added that he can now walk but can’t run just yet.
“Don’t worry, if I want to die, I’ll let you all know since you ‘re all interested.
His wife urged Nigerians to pray for her husband who is still admitted at the hospital. She also warned that the comedian’s social media account has been hacked and it has been used to extort money from celebrities.
She also stated that her husband also lost his bank details and anyone willing to help her husband should contact her or visit them in the hospital.
