September 15, (THEWILL) – Nigerian singer, Chukwudi Ken Agali, popularly known as Chuddy K, has claimed that a certain label boss stopped his songs from airing on radio stations.
He also revealed how people in the industry made him suffer for sounding like another artist.
Chuddy K said, “Trust me I won’t lie yeah, if not the Grace of God is upon me at that time. Depression for don kill my enemy, because a lot of people are snakes in this industry even 9ice has said it.
“Basically, they said I sounded like somebody in the industry and maybe if I had come out before the person they will say the person sounded like me.
“But at the time when my first single came out Slow Slow it was a threat to someone’s record label and the person was trying everything to stop my song. A lot of On Air Personality told me. I don’t want to mention names, it will cause wahala, I don’t need all those things, make them no say na clout chase.
“But trust me it happened to the point that I released Gaga crazy. But the Grace of God has always been with me. These kinds of things are the things that makes a lot of artists frustrated and then they are under depression and they take their own lives.
“If not for the grace of God my brother, I for just…. It is not like taking my own life is an option is just the grace of God that I am standing upon.
“A lot of things that guy that same person did, even shows that I am supposed to get paid for the person made sure that I wasn’t getting shows.
“How do I take care of my family? How do I take care of paying bills and everything, if you stop things that put food on the table for me.”
