How Chanting Incantations In Movies Affected Me – Adewale Alebiosu

December 12, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actor, Adewale Alebiosu, well-known for playing the role of a herbalist in Yoruba movies, has opened up on some of the effects it has had on him in real life.

The actor explained that he was totally oblivious of what the effects the roles he played in movies would have on him in reality.

He said the recitation of incantations haunted him, as strange creatures dealt with him in his dreams after every delivery.

Alebiosu said, “I never knew there was so much more to the incantations I was delivering. I thought I was just delivering my lines, not knowing there are repercussions to follow.

“Whenever I get home after the act, while I sleep I would see some strange beings and some would turn to goats and start biting me.”

Addressing the future casts planning to play similar roles, Alebiosu warned that they must be sure on what they’re about getting themselves into and also fully prepared so that they don’t end regrettably.

“I’m saying this to the coming generation to warn them so that they don’t end up regretting their lives or ending up miserably,” he added.
