November 21, (THEWILL) – American actor and mixed martial artiste, Jason David Frank, is dead.
He committed suicide at his home in Texas, USA, on Saturday. Frank was known for playing the role of Green Power Ranger, Tommy Oliver, in the original 1990s children’s show ‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’.
Frank’s manager, Justine Hunt, announced the actor’s demise on Sunday, without revealing the reason behind his death.
In the statement, she added, “Please respect the privacy of his family and friends during this horrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being. He loved his family, friends and fans very much. He will truly be missed.”
Frank, who was 49, is survived by his four children, two sons, Hunter and Jacob and two daughters, Skye and Jenna.
