Ortom expressed concerns that herdsmen are allowed to carry sophisticated arms while farmers are arrested for holding machetes in the farm.
THEWILL can report that herdsmen have unleashed a barrage of violence on landowners and farmers especially in the middle belt and the south as they seek grass and vegetation for their cows.
“Anti- open grazing prohibition law is still in force and anyone who wants to do business of animal husbandry must embrace ranching,” Ortom warned.
