SAN FRANCISCO, June 09, (THEWILL) – There is heavy deployment of policemen at the National Assembly ahead of the inauguration of the 8th National Assembly.
The police officers are also tightly controlling entrance into the compound located inside the three-Arms-Zone District.
Dozens of people including families and friends of federal legislators-elect as well as journalists are having a tough time getting into the complex due to the crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), the party in majority at the new National Assembly, over the leadership of the federal legislature.
