BEEVRLY HILLS, April 14, (THEWILL) – Another Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar has berated organisers of the recent Eko Star Film & TV awards for snubbing some actresses.
THEWILL had earlier reported that Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri, called out organisers of the award for snubbing her despite her name initially popping out in the jury’s list, only to be later dropped.
Joining the fray, Halima Abubakar, took to her Instagram handle on Wednesday to react on the issue of being snubbed at the just concluded awards sponsored by the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism and EbonyLife.
She wrote, “Clique and gossip will kill Nollywood I swear. Sentimental set of people. Kill joy. I will continue to produce. F*** who don’t like it. Am unproblematic. I give these people roles SMH. Keep snubbing some of us. Acting all posh like are you serious?…Everything is sentiment in Nollywood.”
