BEVERLY HILLS, February 20, (THEWILL) – The founder of the One Love Family, Sat Guru Maharaji Ji has condemned the sale of Nigeria Airways, 18 years after the airline was ceased operations in 2003.
Recently, the Nigeria Senate demanded that the Federal Government of Nigeria should revive the defunct Nigeria Airways before the end of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. The Senate claimed that reviving the dead airline would address the present indiscriminate and unregulated increase in airfares
Maharaji Ji who frowned about the non existence of a national carrier for the country called for investigation into the sale, so that those behind it could be made to face trial.
According to Maharaj Ji, the government should do something to revive the airline to help Nigerians instead of leaving the people without an airline.
“Nigeria Airways is crying in the hospital for endless quarantine to help Nigerians instead of leaving us without an airline. Who and who sold it and when are we going to bring them to face trial”.
He also advised the federal government to thread with caution on the issue of administering the Covid-19 vaccines to Nigerians.
Maharaji Ji gave the advice during a press conference held recently in Maharaj Ji Village in Iju area of Lagos.
Warning that the issue of vaccines should not be politicized, he said “Nigeria should not politicize this very important issue by allowing our scientists to develop the African type of vaccines good for the warm weather Milanin man to prevent any side effects that may occur from taking vaccines from Europe and the America who are being accused of planning to depopulate Africans through this dangerous virus”.
On coronavirus, the spiritual leader further advised that the government should also fortify the checking of inbound travelers so as to curtail the imminent dangers the virus poses on the society.
He said “the checking of travellers coming in should be fortified because of the danger it portends if we relax this matter due to sentiments. We have used the Holy Name to counter this pandemic and gradually reducing its impact on the people after the programme held in Lagos City Hall last year”.
“There is no doubt, that if we the northern leaders realise that their southern brothers are as important as they themselves, the Europeans cannot cheat us any more”,he added.
According to him, the security situation in the country is in a bad shape, emphasizing that security threat noticeable in the country are self induced.
On distribution of Covid19 Palliative, Maharaji Ji said “The federal government should not sit on grants from foreign donors meant for Nigerian workers to help alleviate their suffering in the midst of the economic recession and the coronavirus lockdown”.
“We are reliably being informed that some foreign donors have made substantive grants for workers. Believe me, the release of these grants would give President Buhari a boost in history and will greatly counter the bad publicity going on about this administration”.
On the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and other trade unions involved in industrial actions which have been pending, Maharaji Ji appealed to ASUU and other unions to end the strike immediately for the sake of the students, their families and the economy that we want to build.
He equally advised President Buhari to issue another Executive Order to restrain the police from taking or receiving money on the roads.
While advising the United Kingdom to relax its immigration laws against Nigerians in England, Maharaji Ji also warned Ghana to stop all bogus economic business laws against fellow African countries.
On Sunday Igboho, Maharaji Ji said “This is to remind you once again that he must be given a national award for exposing the criminal herdsmen, kidnappers and extortionists terrorists hiding in Ibarakpa town in Oyo State”.
“The state governments in the Yoruba speaking states should give him an award. He is as good as any other black man who has seen the light”.
