July 05, (THEWILL) – Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a naval officer, Musa Lawal, in Lokoja, Kogi state capital.
The victim, who is an officer with the Naval Headquarters, Abuja, was kidnapped in his residence, behind Post Flood Housing Estate, Lokoja, at about 8:00pm on Monday.
His wife, Juliana Ida Musa, said the kidnappers have contacted, demanding three million naira ransom for his release.
She said one of her husband’s hands was bleeding when he was being taken away.
Contacted, Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Williams Ayah, said the command is yet to be informed, but promised to find out from the relevant DPOs.
