SAN FRANCISCO, July 17, (THEWILL) – Gunmen Thursday attacked the residence of former Minister of the FCT and member of the national conference, General Jeremiah Useni (rtd), shooting sporadically into space and into the wall of the Langtang North residence of the politician.
Useni was however in Abuja during the attack and the police said no casualty was recorded.
The Public Relations Officer of the Plateau State Police command, Abu Emmanuel, told journalists that troops were deployed to the residence when the military got intelligence concerning the incident. He added that the attackers were repelled.
