January 28, (THEWILL) – Less than 48 hours after gunmen kidnapped Philip Aivoji, Lagos State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Thursday evening, while returning from a stakeholders meeting in Oyo State, the Chairman, Tipper, Lorry and Quarry Park Management System (PMS), in Oyo state, Akeem Akintola has been abducted on Saturday morning.
THEWILL reports that Akintola, popularly known as KUSO, was kidnapped at his residence in the Ajiboye area, Omi Apata, Ibadan.
A source, who did not want his name published, said that the gunmen stormed Akintola’s residence in the early hours of Saturday and abducted him to an unknown destination.
Efforts by THEWILL to confirm the incident from the State Police Command, proved abortive as several calls put through to the Spokesperson of the Command, SP Adewale Osifeso, were not answered.
