Gunmen Abduct Former Lawmaker’s Wife In Cross River

SAN FRANCISCO, November 16, (THEWILL) – Gunmen on Sunday night abducted wife of a former House of Representatives member in Cross River, Patrick Orok Agbor.

One of the daughters of the former lawmaker, who confirmed the incident on Monday said her “mother, Eno Patrick Orok was abducted on Sunday, at about 10 pm from our home, at Uyanga, Akamkpa LGA.”

She further explained that the “6 gunmen, fully armed with face masks, forced themselves into our compound” and abducted her mother. She is about 60 years old and works at Federal Training Institute Calabar.”

The abductors are yet to contact the family as at press time.

However, the Nigeria Police Force and a closet Army checkpoint at Odukpani area of the state have been informed about the incident.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Irene Ugbo has not respond to telephone calls on the incident.
