June 03, (THEWILL) – Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has appointed Nuhu Anka, as his Director-General on Media and Communications.
His appointment was conveyed in a letter personally signed by the Governor.
The letter reads in part: “I wish to convey to you my decision to appoint you as Director General, Media and Communications in my office.
“This appointment is predicated on your proven capabilities and dedication to duty, your exhibited patriotic zeal and passion for the development of our dear state.”
Anka was a former Press Secretary to the former Governor, Abdul’aziz Yari.
He was appointed as Managing Director, Zamfara Printing Press by Gov. Bello Matawalle in 2019.
Anka served as Secretary, Publicity Sub Committee to the defunct PDP Governorship Campaign Council in the state in the 2023 general elections among other positions held within and outside the state.
