September 27, (THEWILL) – Napoli’s star striker, Victor Osimhen, is set to potentially make an appearance in Wednesday’s highly anticipated Italian Serie A match against Udinese, at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
However, the focus on Osimhen’s playing abilities has shifted to his strained relationship with the club, following a controversial TikTok video posted by Napoli that ridiculed the player’s missed penalty during their last Serie A game against Bologna as THEWILL reported.
The incident came after a rift between Osimhen and Napoli manager, Rudi Garcia, as the Nigerian player expressed his disappointment with being substituted in the goalless draw against The Rossoblù. Osimhen’s criticism of Garcia’s decision to replace him with Giovanni Simeone, instead of playing with two centre-forwards, has led to speculation about his future with the club.
