Former Deputy Speaker’s Wife, Daughter, Kidnapped in Ogun

BEVERLY HILLS, June 03, (THEWILL) – Mrs Nofisat Oshin, and her daughter, Miss Afolabi Oshin, the wife and daughter of the former Deputy Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly (OGHA), Dr Tokunboh Oshin have been kidnapped.

Nofisat who is the Director of Information in Odogbolu Local Government Council of Ogun state, with her daughter were abducted by people suspected to be kidnappers along Akobi street in Ijebu – Ode on Thursday around 8pm.

Her car was later found at Okunowa community in Odogbolu Local Government with no trace of the duo.

To this end, the Ogun Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) condemned the abduction, describing it as barbaric act.

A statement by the Acting Chairman of NUJ in the state, Soji Amosu, disclosed that Nofisat is one of the NUJ members in the state.

He urged the security agencies to fish out the perpetrators of the barbaric act praying for the safe return of the duo.
