June 30, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actor, Stanley Nweze, is not happy with the rate at which marriages have been packing up, most especially among celebrities who are supposed to be role models to many of their fans.
He took to social media to advise that couples should try and stay together, while working on their differences because of their children.
He added that if children grow up in separated homes, such children might not have a happy marriage.
“A lot of marriages don’t last these days why?
“Couples are fast to vow for better and for worse but when things get worse, they get fed up and leave the marriage.
“I know people are passing through a lot in marriages but sometimes, for the sake of our children, try to make it work because I think if your children grow in separated homes, it could be a thing in your lineage.
“May we all be happy and have lasting marriages, IJN.
“This is very scary and discouraging for those who are yet to marry.”
His outburst comes a few hours after Funke Akindele-Bello’s husband, Abdulrasheed Bello, aka JJC Skillz announced his separation from his wife.
He revealed that he had tried to make things work but he believes it has gone beyond repair.
