November 28, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola has reacted after she and her colleagues were called out for singing the praises of All Progressives Congress National Leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu in a video that went viral.
In the video, Nollywood stars were seen sitting around a conference table, chanting “Asiwaju Bola Tinubu”.
This really got Nigerians mad as the video got a lot of criticisms for their action and some people even accused them of collecting money from the APC leader to endorse him for President in 2023.
Foluke took to her Instagram account through a video to explain that she and her colleagues’ presence at the gathering had nothing to do with politics or endorsing Tinubu.
In her video she explained that, although she’s a card carrying member of the APC, the motive behind their visit to Tinubu was to campaign for peace and unity, not to endorse any candidate.
She also explained that she wasn’t given a dime from anyone to endorse anyone.
