October 04, (THEWILL) – The management of West Africa’s largest carrier, Air Peace, has announced the decision to compensate passengers for its delayed Lagos-Abuja flight P47124 on Thursday, October 3, 2024.
In an official statement issued on Friday, the airline said it has approved a 25 per cent one-way discounted ticket (exclusive of tax) on any of its domestic routes as compensation for the inconvenience caused on Thursday.
The airline, which informed that the delay was a weather-related one, said, “Dear esteemed passenger, we are truly sorry that your flight with us, P47124, Lagos to Abuja for yesterday, 3rd October 2024, was delayed due to bad weather. We cannot imagine how this must have affected your travel plans.
“Air Peace has approved a 25 percent one-way discounted ticket (exclusive of tax) on any of our domestic routes as compensation for the inconvenience caused. Kindly note that this offer is valid for six months from today (Excluding 15th December 2024 to 15th January 2025).”
