World governing football body, FIFA, has congratulated Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen, for his record breaking move from Lille of France to Napoli of Italy.
The top striker signed with the Italian side for a record of €80 million euros, making him the most expensive player on record from the shores of Africa.
“From starring at the #U17WC with @NGSuperEagles 🇳🇬 in 2015 to becoming @en_sscnapoli’s marquee signing.
“All the best in this next chapter of your career, Victor!” FIFA tweeted after Napoli formally announced the deal.
