March 15, (THEWILL) – The people of Ekrokpe community in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, have congratulated Dr. Duke Okoro, on his appointment as Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Orogun.
They also appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari, Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu; and Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, for finding their son, Dr. Duke Okoro, worthy of the appointment.
A statement issued on Wednesday, at Ekropke community, by the President General, Dr. Igho Sunday Ogoyibo, said, “We the people of Ekrokpe Community in Ughelli South LGA, Delta State, congratulate our illustrious son, Dr. Duke Okoro, on his appointment as Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Orogun.
“We also thank Mr. President, Muhamadu Buhari; the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu; and our leader, Deputy President of the Senate, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege, who made the appointment of Dr. Duke Okoro possible”
The community further commended Omo-Agege for attracting the Federal Polytechnic to Delta State and expressed confidence in Okoro’s capacity and ability to deliver on his new assignment.
Okoro, who was recently appointed as the Rector of the polytechnic, is an illustrious personality from the Ekrokpe community.
