SAN FRANCISCO, June 07, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari arrived Bavaria, Germany, Sunday for the G7 Summit accompanied by Borno State Governor, Mr. Kashim Shettima, former Lagos State Governor, Mr Babatunde Fashola, SAN, former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, Mal. Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant (Media and Publicity) and Mal. Lawal Abdullahi Kazaure, the State Chief of Protocol (SCOP), among other aides.


German Chancellor Angela Merkel had invited Buhari to the summit even before he was sworn in on May 29th as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“The invitation is a clear indication of the international community’s willingness to cooperate with the new government of Nigeria,” Buhari’s spokesman, Garba Shehu said in a statement Saturday.
