BEVERLY HILLS, CA, May 27, (THEWILL) – The Emir of Gombe, Alhaji Shehu Abubakar, (76) is dead.
According to a statement by the Gombe State Government, the Emir died inside a London hospital on Tuesday.
The statement signed by the Secretary to the Gombe State Government (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Bage, said interment arrangements would be announced later.
Emir Abubakar was the 11th Emir of Gombe after succeeding his late father
in January 1984.
