BEVERLY HILLS, CA, June 26, (THEWILL) – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented the Governor-Elect of Ekiti State, Mr Ayo Fayose with a certificate further authenticating him as the new Governor of the State following his overwhelming victory at last Saturday’s governorship election.
INEC’s National Commissioner in-charge of Southwest, Prof. Layi Olurode, Thursday presented the certificate to Fayose on behalf of the commission at the Ado-Ekiti office of INEC.
The new governor stormed the INEC office with scores of supporters and party leaders.
In a brief address, Fayose promised to work hard and assured local contractors of patronage.
