SAN FRANCISCO, December 10, (THEWILL) – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has given former militant warlord, Chief Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo) seven days to make himself available to officers of the commission at its Ikoyi-Lagos office or risk being declared wanted over alleged unlawful dealings in the sale of parcels of land estimated to be around N13 billion to the federal government under the past administration of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.
THEWILL can report that the alleged scam involves the land where the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency University is located in Delta State.
In a letter to the former militant commander, the EFCC said it hopes to see him at the commission’s training room on Thursday December 17, 2015.
It previously sent a similar invitation to him in November but Tompolo failed to honour the invitation and is yet to contact the commission till date, the EFCC said.
