De Bruyne Wins 2021/2022 EPL Player Of The Season

May 21, (THEWILL) – Kevin De Bruyne has been named Premier League Player of the Season for the season 2021/2022.

The Belgian superstar has been the focal point of a Manchester City club that seems certain to win the Premier League for the fourth time in five years. As Pep Guardiola’s side continued to show their dominance over England, he scored 15 goals and added seven assists.

De Bruyne last won the Premier League Player of the Season accolade in 2020, following an amazing individual season in which he scored 20 goals and set a new record with 20 assists.

Last season’s winner was Ruben Dias, marking the third consecutive year that the honour has gone to a City player. On Saturday, Phil Foden was named the winner of the Premier League Young Player of the Season title for this season.
