SAN FRANCISCO, June 28, (THEWILL) – Singer Oladapo Oyebanjo, popularly called D’banj, is on the headlines again, this time for performing in Abuja and ignoring COVID-19 safety guidelines set to contain the spread of coronavirus.
In a short video clip circulated on social media Sunday, D’banj was seen performing indoors, in close proximity to fans, without a face mask. THEWILL counted over 20 persons clustered around D’banj in what appeared to be party as he shook hands and embraced some fans.
THEWILL reports that Naira Marley had also flouted COVID-19 safety rules in Abuja a few weeks ago, when he performed at a mall in the capital city.
