August 16, (THEWILL) – Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has splashed millions of naira on a diamond necklace to celebrate his latest album, ‘Timeless’, which has been widely accepted since its release.
The singer took to Instagram on Tuesday, to share a video of himself wearing the luxury piece.
He accompanied the video with a short caption, “Turned sand to diamond”.
United Kingdom jeweller, Local Kettle Brothers, who made the diamond piece, also took to Instagram to write about it.
The jeweller described the pendant as a custom piece crafted to commemorate the achievement of Davido’s album.
Local Kettle Brothers said the pendant was crafted with meticulous details and hand-selected diamonds.
The jeweller added that the piece was designed exclusively for Davido and it symbolises the singer’s style, creativity, and lasting beauty.
‘Timeless’ was released in March and it has a few collaborations with Asake, Fave, Focalistic, Angelique Kidjo, and Skepta, among others.
It features tracks such as ‘Over Dem’, ‘In the Garden’, ‘Godfather’, ‘Feel’, ‘Unavailable’, ‘Kante’, ‘Bop’, ‘E Pain Me’, ‘Away,’ and ‘ Money.’
