March 30, (THEWILL)- Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke aka Davido, has launched a music and arts faculty at the International University of East Africa in Uganda.
The award-winning singer, shared scenes from the unveiling, in a series of Instagram posts on Friday.
Davido launched the faculty of music and arts in the university and a hall named after him on March 28.
Davido is currently in Uganda, where he is expected to perform at the Kololo Independence Grounds.
In 2018, the singer donated $5,000 to a music school in Rwanda.
“Visited a music school in Rwanda today, the beautiful bright spirit of the people I met there motivated me to donate to their future”, he had said.
