May 15, (THEWILL) – Singer, David Adeleke, aka Davido, has reacted to news of him sacking his long-time lawyer, Prince Bobo Ajudua.
THEWILL had earlier reported that the singer sacked Bobo, the only son of an alleged serial fraudster, Fred Ajudua, and politician, Patricia, over allegations of embezzlement and financial misappropriation.
Davido has now disputed claims that he sacked his lawyer who also doubles as his friend over alleged embezzlement, which may have caused a strain in their relationship.
While he did not state the exact reason for his dismissal, Davido admitted subtly that Bobo was no longer in his employ.
He said, “In business, things evolve and change all the time.”
“This was not the case at all, we are still very good friends. Please disregard the narrative”, he said of the alleged embezzlement.
He also reiterated his continued friendship with Bobo.
A graduate of the University of Essex, Bobo, who is skilled in Media and Entertainment law and the provision of legal services to A-list artists and music producers, is the principal partner at B.F.A and Co Legal.
