July 23, (THEWILL) – Controversial media personality, Ifedato Olarinde aka Daddy Freeze, has disagreed with Bishop David Oyedepo concerning the dismissal of about 40 pastors from Winners Chapel.
THEWILL writes that a Winners Pastor, identified as Peter Godwin, had alleged that he and 40 other pastors were sacked for underperforming.
Reacting, on Wednesday, Oyedepo stated that the only criteria for their sack was because they did not win many souls for the church.
According to Oyedepo, the pastors were sacked because they were unfruitful.
Reacting, Freeze in a post on his Instagram account, stated that the only thing Christ categorized as being unfruitful was a tree.
He wrote: “Matthew 21:19, New International Version.
“Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves.
“Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered.”
