BEVERLY HILLS, January 10, (THEWILL) – Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has threatened that his command would seek the revocation of the Certificate of Occupancy of buildings which house many night clubs in the state.
Odumosu, while parading over 200 violators of 12-4am curfew of the state, said club owners won’t be spared in the efforts to punish offenders.
The Police boss said it is the belief of his command that majority of the clubs in the state were indeed converted to clubs having been originally approved as residential buildings.
Odumosu said the club will loose their properties if they do not join hands with the government to enforce the ban on certain activities.
Among those paraded were men and women who were arrested at various night clubs.
